Hello,

I filled out the forms I-485 and I-765 together and sent to USCIS Chicago on April 10, 2017. My Biometrics appointment was yesterday, where I had my fingerprints and photo taken. I want to fill out and send a I-131 (First I thought I wouldn't need it but knowing the processing times better now, I've decided it's better to get it) and wanna know if I have to pay for the fee, and If I need to specify the country and dates of my intended travel on the form. Just wanna be sure before sending anything.

Thank you

You can still file your I-131 for free by attaching the AOS NOA1 together with your submission. I am not sure what visa you are adjusting from but if a K-1, you wouldn't need to specify any tentative or non-existent travel plans. I'm sure others could chime in more.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
