Hi, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to pose this question. 

 

My husband filed the I130 back in March to the Phoenix lockbox. It's been 3 months to this date and we haven't received a receipt notice, a notice of action or text even though we filled out the appropriate form to receive  an electronic notice. Is this normal? Should I start panicking?

You can call USCIS and ask about your case.

If the check was cashed then you normally should have gotten the receipt notice in the mail.

08/16/19: sent I-751 packet to USCIS Lockbox in Dallas

08/19/19: packet received by USCIS

08/21/19: received text message with case number ( Texas Service Center)

08/23/19: check got chashed

08/26/19: received extension letter in the mail

11/14/19: Biometrics appointment

04/28/20: case got transferred to my local field office in Atlanta

05/28/20: New Card Is Being Produced

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

06/03/20: The Post Office Picked Up Your New Card

06/04/20: Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office

Only the petitioner can make that call; USCIS will not speak to the beneficiary at this point in the process.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

It was delivered and the cheque has been cashed, yes. My husband called USCIS but they only said it was somewhere in Texas. But we got no receipt, no NOA. It's been almost 4 months.

That's definitely not normal.

 

I would email LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov and enclose the following information:

 

Please include the form number, receipt number, petitioner and/or applicant name, and mailing address with your email.  Please do not include social security numbers in emails.

If you get an inadequate reply, or no reply, i would then make an Infopass appointment at your local office and speak to an IO about the matter.

Thank you, we really appreciate it! We will e-mail tonight. Anyone know an average of how long it would take them to respond?

I'm going to guess several days. If you haven't heard anything within 7-10 I would go with the Infopass instead.
