I am from London and I call frequently using Skype.  It costs me a few pennies everytime I call. Just add credit to your skype account. I had credited £5 And after several calls I still have £2 Left. Also try calling between 11 and 12 in the morning uk time and between 3 and 4 at night. You won't be held in a queue.

I was able to pay  the aos fee. The IV fee says pay now but won't let me pay yet. After reading other peoples posts I guess it will take 2-3 days for the IV fee to open.

Okay folks... so I just called the NVC.. I'm also waiting for my IIN and case number as well. My petition arrived at the NVC on 2/23/18. So... the lady that I just spoke with (very sweet lady) told me that what happened is that the USCIS sent over way too many approvals at one time, and they are back-logged as a result of that. She said, but once you get your case number, then things move pretty timely. Just wanted to give y'all an update! Good luck to all of you!

Hey @CloveD Mine arrived at NVC on 3/12/18 so we're about 2-3 weeks apart. I still haven't received mine, I'm guessing it will near the end of April for me  but keep us posted when you receive yours!

Well they can give you your invoice number on the phone as well! Pay everything so that you can send out your civil documents and AOS documents ASAP

Ok will do! In addition, I have a friend who has a friend that is an attorney for the USCIS. I had my friend ask this attorney if there was anything I needed to know regarding the NVC or my husbands interview and the attorney’s response was that since our petition was already approved, the rest... especially the interview, are just a formality. But basically, we are approved. I was like.... what???? I didn’t know that! I took a big sigh of relief and I felt like... finally some good news!!!

Guys my case was sent to the NVC on February 6 and I haven't received anything after that. What should  I be expecting? An email or a mail?

Hi! Did u received it thru mail or email? 

Coz nvc received ours feb 26, and until now we havent heard anything from them . we called nvc april 2 and she said they're understaff so we need to wait for 8 weeks before could receive our case number

Hi Leilei... you need to call the NVC at least once per week to get an update. Don’t wait on them! There’s a post on visa journey about the “NVC process”... it explains exactly what to do. I recommend you search for that and read it thoroughly.

My husband called the nvc today and we finally got our case number and invoice number but it takes again a couple of weeks before we could receive our welcome letter. Atleast we're moving.. Goodluck to everyone of us

 

May i know what will be the next step after this? Can we choose now our agent? Or we really need to wait for the welcome letter?

Me and My husband got our approval email today and i logged into ceac  Approval feb 14th! We haven’t been given the option to choose an agent - even though we don’t have a lawyer. Both fees are available. Should i call? or pay the fees and continue  SO EXCITED THAT WE ARE NEARLY THERE NOW!!!

I'm a May 2017 filer and we still don't have a case number. I call NVC daily and they say it's not entered.  Our date was February 4th.  I just don't understand what they delay is.
