Congratulations! I see you have same pd as mine. 2nd June. But mine is Nebraska. Happy for all those getting approved but why can't they do in order.

Texas is ahead of Nebraska so that's understood you getting approved in December.  I am praying I get sent to dos update instead of approved cause I have seen cases taking ages to be sent to dos after they are approved like yours.  People who are directly sent to dos are lucky that way.

Filed June 19th, the I-130 was approved on 10/18/2017, and I finally received a notification from the NVC last week! Fees were processed within 3 days and all documents were submitted so we're hoping to hear back about scheduling the interview within the next month or two!

My case was approved 18/1/18. And a line in my noa2 says "per the petitioners request, your case has been sent to the US department of state national visa center " does this mean they sent it to the nvc same day it was approved or is this how they generally write on noa2s before actually sending to the nvc

They aren’t doing it in order. There were a lot of approvals with PD 6/28 before mine came in. I’m sure yours is on the way this week.
