I-130 June 2017 Filers

HI All, 

I don't see a topic for those of us in June so here we go.  My texts/emails came in on the 12th, apps received on the 8th... but sadly...got sent to Nebraska... I have seen some Nebraska people getting approvals for their Mid-November apps though so... hooray for progress.

I am another June filer.

My application was received on the 8th and my notice date on the 12th. 

Just got my actual letter today in the mail.

Mine got sent to Texas not sure if that is a good thing or not...

Funny enough mine received the 8th, got  the letters today as well... the issue is I went to Nebraska.  Texas is known as one of the fastest centers... about 2 months ahead of Nebraska at this point so congratulations. You're still looking at 5-6 months but that's better than anywhere else.

From what I was reading I figured it would take about that long for the first part.

Nebraska being 2 months behind is crazy though.

Hopefully we both get people who are fast with their work.

Being fast with their work isn't the issue. From my understanding they do it by the time that your application comes in so Nebraska is still in November of last year where Texas is working on January of this year

I am a june filer as well. Application  mailed on 6/13 was delivered on friday june 16 to Phoeniz. So far no notification yet.

Package mailed via USPS : 06/06/2017
Delivery at the Chicago lockbox: 06/07/2017
Email and text notification:06/09/2017
Mail notification: 06/15/2017

 

the package got sent to Potomac service center.

We got married in Albania but I live in Germany so I'm wondering if I will do the consular processing in Germany or Albania? Does anybody know anything about that?

I know that feeling.  20 days in and we have over 200 before the next step... well.... us Nebraska folks anyways... you may get a bit faster....

I'm from phils but currently in UAE while hubby is in OKC.. Time difference is killing the both of us!

Well the good news is it looks like the November dates are starting to get knocked out a little faster in Nebraska. Once they get through November... the months following should be a bit quicker (less applications). Until then... booking trips to see the wife and kids for August and Christmas.  Tired of missing them.
