My fiancé and I are using a lawyer to help us with the immigration process. She called today to tell me that our NOA2 had been approved!  This is great news, however when I check my case status on the USCIS website, it does not display yet that we have been approved. How are we contacted about the NOA2 approval other than a letter? I feel that people have been notified prior to receiving a hard copy letter in the mail, but this has not been the case for us. Thanks!

In our case (CR-1), my attorney emailed me to say that our I-130 had been approved.  The USCIS status changed a day or two later.  The hard copy arrived a few days after that....Hang in there!!

The online case tracker has not been working properly recently. Some can see NOA2 updates online, but many only knew about NOA2 though the hard copy in the mail. I got the NOA2 letter in the mail dated May 5, 2017 and my online status still says 'received Dec 19' haha

If your lawyer got the NOA2 letter in the mail, don't worry too much about the USCIS case tracker. Congrats! :)
