The reasons they mentioned for rescheduling is is unforeseen reasons.

I would honestly play dumb, they notified you two days before your interview plus you have been waiting over a year for an interview. I also got my interview scheduled for August 13 at the Kendall field office. I would be devastated if they cancelled mine.

I was out of the country for a while and didn't follow VJ and this thread.

 

I came back specifically to see whether there was any news for you, and I'm glad to see there is! 

Glad to know you passed your interview and that you will be scheduled for an Oath Ceremony soon! You will be looking at that blue passport for months to come, I tell ya! Also, the best feeling coming back with a warm "Welcome home!" by the CBP officer at the MIA airport.

So. I went on time. They let us in. After security and waiting outside of interview office. Everything was great till the officer came and took my appointment latter again. And went to his desk. Then after 10 min he called my name. Told me we r sorry but ur interview is been cancelled. The head of the office came down and she was apologizing.  They were very nice honestly. Although they didnt gave us any good or specific answers. She said ur file didnt make it yet to kendall office and noone know how long this could take. Days. Weeks months or even years !!! Yeah I know. 

So am back to square one almost with the endless waiting. 

My status at the app still haven't change. "Interview is been scheduled " not sure if it will remain the same or it will change after sometime.

a friend of mine who has a priority date of May, 14th  got his interview letter last Friday the 13th of July in mail, he's interview will be on August 15th at the Miami Office.

 

Stay tight May filers we were getting closer.

after long thoughtful consideration, I decided to attend my interview on Aug 13th as scheduled, rather than trying to rescheduling.

 

i am trying to organize everything before the day comes as the anxiety escelates every other day.

@sunshinestate2013 you were in Miami Field office as I will attend my interview there as well. Are there any suggestions you could give me since you recently completed your interview ??

one thing I came about on the forum that some places suggest to have 2 passport size pictures while other claim that it’s not necessary .. did they ask pictures from you ?apart from that anything you could remember to be more prepared ??

I suggest you bring the passport pictures as well. Also your current and old passports. Study for the test! Wishing you the best of luck! Let us know how it goes.
