I am still waiting to hear regarding my N400. However Orlando are now processing I751 from the date they received my application. I hope my I751 gets resolved and speeds up my N400.

I did look and saw Miami are now processing N400 from 29th August 2016, which is a big move from the last set of data produced as of July 31st....

I am sure you will be getting your interview date pretty soon!

And, you're right, Miami is moving ahead! Making progress. Just have to be patient and wait.

I read carefully the thread of November filers. That guy and the January filers who did interview at the same day got their invitation letters befor Irma came. Because of Irma the processing time increased for 1 months minimum. Kendall FO processed Sept 12/2016 ( on August 31,2017), means 11,5 month. When we filed our cases in March the processing time was 6,5-7 months. Miami and Kendall offices sometimes as I read in the past threads exchange the bunch of cases if one of them is backlogged, thus their processing time lines are pretty much the same.  I am optimist and wanna hope the best but I do not predict my invitation letter earlier than At the middle of Dec/Jan,2018. It screwed unfortunately all our family and business plans but we should hope in best...I think our Florida FO are the slowest because of a lot of immigrants here...

I think that I should get my letter by late February.

Hi Guys,

i am a miami filer as well. My pd is February 2017 and in line for interview since March 9th.  I have searched a lot and couldnt find any helpful topics about the process in Miami Field Office ( even though it is the busiest field office in the country and there are not a lot of people sharing in Miami sharing their experience in forum) wanted to join here to see if i can contribute.

Anyways i am waiting for my interview as well since March 9th. I dont actually mind waiting but also want to get it out of mt head.

Is there anyone else who has been in line before march and still did not receive an appointment yet ?

or if anyone ever attended an interwiew in Miami, can share their experiences here which will help us.

For little info, i am non hispanic and applying for citizenship in miami which is a little bit odd. :)

Thank you.

As far as i know before the hurricane, people here were started to receive their interview appointments two months before their PD date. So in my mind, i m expecting to recieve the letter in December.

And i know most of the time, if everything goes well , they issue you your oath letter right after the interview which is a plus.

Well lets see...

Also i would like to ask if anyone is in the same situation with me.

when i filed my n400 i did not owe anything to Irs. However after i filed 2016 tax returns, i incurred debt from 2016 and filed for installment in august. I have been making paymets in installments for two months now. I m not sure if that will be a problem and its not a lot of money that i owe at this moment but i cant pay it off in the next couple of months.

i have the installment agreement and copies of my installment payments.

I think hurricane Irma might have delayed the Miami office. I hope I’m wrong.

Hello everyone,

I'm from Miami as well (Miami Field Office 8801 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33150)

USCIS received my application on August 28th 2017

My fingerprints were taken on September 26th 2017

2 days later my status online changed : Case Is In Line For An Interview

On the USCIS website it says that this particular field office is processing cases from August 2016, which in my opinion is pretty slow. I also read on another forum that people from that same field office are receiving their interview letters 8 months after fingerprinting. Hopefully I won't have to wait a whole year for my interview to be scheduled. 6 months would be a reasonable wait tho.

Please: @Miamifilerrr and @Miamay since we're from the same field office, keep posting on this thread how things are coming along (Updates, News) as I've been looking for Miami filers as well. They're pretty hard to find to be honest!

Good luck everyone.

Good Luck on your Journey. I have been waiting since March 9th. Nowadays the whole process seem to be taking a year in Miami. However i applied after the election time thats why it was very busy. Hopefully you wont have to wait long time like us.

I would say 8 months from today is reasonable
