I just wanted to update you guys.

Had my N-400 interview today at the Oakland Park, FL Field Office. My appointment was at 11.20am but they were running about an hour late.

The officer interviewing me could not have been nicer. She went through the Civics and English portion first, and then we went over the entire N-400 Form. She then recommended me for approval.

So all in all it only took me 4 and a half months from filing date to interview (see timeline).

I look forward to seeing fellow FL filers, in particular sunshinestate2013, approved ASAP.

Congratulations, @Nikkosan! And thank you for the good wishes! :)

He must be a military member or alaskan field office filer in order to get scheduled in two months lol....

by the way my interview has been scheduled on March 5th. Today is the 15th and still received no letter yet. Does it usually come from the field office or from the benefit center ?

That's great news Miamifiller congrats. I'm not sure where is the letter coming from, but you should receive it in the mail shortly anyway.

Hi everyone. My time is coming for early filling of my N-400 and I'm extremely anxious. I live in fort Lauderdale. I can to file during fall this year. I have a sibling that lives in Palm Beach and I wonder how much longer it takes in the Palm Beach office than in the Oakland Park office. Where can I find info on how backed up or processing times of the offices? Also I wonder if people that had to wait almost a year here had filled paper form or online. I read online is quicker? Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.
