How can I see if we've been "TOUCHED" ?

Hello --

We sent in our AOS packet in mid-Febrary. In early March, we received an RFE Initial Evidence Required notice, stating we had to send in more proof of my income (letter from boss, official IRS tax return copy, W2s, paystubs). I sent it all in last week.

What I am wondering is ... first of all:

*I made a stupid mistake and didn't get any delivery confirmation. How can I make sure they received all of it ? I have nightmares that it never gets delivered, we go over our authorized time period to submit the RFE, and we are denied.

*Let's say they have received the papers. Where do we go from here. How can I tell when we are 'touched' as so many of you post about ... ?

Thanks,

Kris

As we don't have a receipt number yet, I am not 100% but I have read and when we get our first NOA I will be doing this:

Go to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/caseStatu...id=bFZrL0ONP5q7

Enter your application receipt number.. you will see your status, then at the bottom of the screen there is something you click on to keep you updated by email, so everytime your paperwork gets touched or anything is mailed to you, you should get an email.

Once again, I havent done it before, so someone who has, please, double check and make sure that I gave the right instruction.

Thanks...

This is what I did:

Go here:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

1) Create a customer portfolio account

2) Enter your case receipt #s from your Notices of Action

3) Make sure to choose to be notified by email

Whenever you log in, you'll see a column that says "Last Updated." Whenever the dates change under this column it means that your case has been "touched." Choosing to be contacted by email does not mean that you'll get an email every time your case is "touched." Since MSC received my packet on 3/16, my case has been touched multiple times, I've received my Biometrics appt. notice and attended my Biometrics appt., but I have yet to receive an email.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers! (F)
