My question is in bold encase you get confused as to what I want to know.

My husband came to the US on the K1 fiance visa. When he first came I was employed as a live in caregiver, and the family I was living with at that time was very opened minded, rich, and didn't mind that my fiance would come and live with me at their home for a short period of time (In the dark basement). Eventually they started treating both him and I like their slaves, and didn't want us to ever leave their house, we had no free time, and they wanted my fiance to just do all their yard work all day, clean their home and fix their cars etc. They also wanted me to give their mother large amounts of medication so that she can die faster, because they were getting tired of paying for her expenses even though they were financially able, and didn't want to pay me to take care of her. Every week the family I worked for "forgot" to pay me unless I went to them and asked for my check. They pretty much wanted me to work for free. That's just the short story, but eventually I called my dad and my dad said ''it's time to leave that mad house, because their taking advantage of you both''. We left and we now live at a new address.

Now we are married and no longer have to deal with those sick people. and I sent in his ''Adjustment of Status packet''. When I filled out all the forms ( I 485 etc.) I put our new address. When I did his K1 visa documents before he came to the US. The address I put was at my work address, because that's where we would first be living together. Now I am worried about the new forms. Is the USCIS going to send my fiances confirmation notice in our new address that we are currently living at, which is the address i put on the new forms, or are they going to send the stuff to the old address (God forbid, because those people will definitely not forward it to us), because that's the address he was living at when he first came to the states?

I said Fiance, but I meant Husband...because we are married now. I didn't know how to edit the post.

Yes, today I panicked and I did both those things today. I just hope they didn't already send anything to the old address. I'm crossing my fingers.

That's good to know, but do you happen to know if they send the adjustment of status approval using the address you provided on I 485 or are you unsure? because if they just use the new address that I provided on the new forms, than i have nothing to worry about.
