Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen working in the US and I just recently married my American wife. I am in the US on a TN visa. Prior to that I was on OPT for a year after getting a degree on a F1 visa.

I am filling out the I-130 AND 1-485 forms and have a few questions.

I-130 -

1.We will most likely be moving out of state in about a month. Should we use the "In care of name" on your mailing address to our new place?

2.My fiance was born to two American parents on an army base over seas. Is her citizenship by Naturalization or parents?

3. The form asks for a Alien Registration Number. I used to have that on my OPT EAD card but I cannot locate it at the moment. Is that a big deal? I have not been able to find it online.

4. The form asks for a Form I-94 arrival record number. I have not used my I-94 since I was in college I believe. Do I need this number if I am on a TN now? Once again that form is not with me at the moment, and the little white card is in my previous passport.

1-485 - When it comes to processing information, what types of clubs or memberships are they asking for?

I live in Oklahoma and am moving to Texas. Where is the best place to file?

Thanks so much!

1. I'd suggest you to use your current address and then later on change the address on the forms online by AR-11 + I-865 sponsors change of address (if sponsors your spouse) + calling hotline and speaking to tier 2 about change of address on I-130

3. A number is not required

4. You can obtain your latest I-94 online, just google it

and you should file to the office that is assigned to your current address (you can look it up online on USCIS page)

after you change your address later on they will probably transfer your case to another office

on I-485 they ask most likely about the political and religious organizations
