Thank you David & Zoila for your reply. Please re-read my initial 'post for'.

We've completed form DS-5535 to bring to the interview, My question is, since it's implementation in March 2017 has anyone been requested/required to submit the completed DS-5525 form?  I am seeking implementation requirement feedback input, not DS-5535 information. We are seeking feedback as to whether any VJ'ers have experienced having to submit this form.

Hello how are you did you get your visa after submitting ds5535 and how much did you wait after submitting the form

Hello all,

I am an American born citizen, my wife is Moroccan. On June 19th, 2017 my wife had a k-1 visa interview in Casa Blanca and they gave her form DS 5535 immediately after the interview, in person, along with an email address for her to email the completed form to. She filled it out and sent it 3 days later. We haven't heard anything from them, and, like the rest of you we are wondering how long this extra step in screening is going to take. If you have any information regarding the time frame please do let me know. It is much appreciated.

P.S. Stay optimistic. I hope you will be with your loved ones soon.

Warm Regards,

Fadi

Any updates on your wife's case yet?

I have received DS 5535 after my interview on June 23rd and since then my case is under AP. VO told me that it will take 1-2 weeks to complete the process then on the email next days when they sent me DS 5535 it was mentioned 10-30 days. Did the VO mention any timeline to your wife ?

So today I contacted Department of State (hence the ds stands for Department of State...told that’s who I need to speak to via USCIS). They stated that they are not doing any processing and our case is currently in administrative processing through the Embassy. Administrative Processing is the part I dreaded because you never know when that will be over. All this time, I think the whole ds5535 was just a way to put cases in administrative processing. I pray this is over soon, but this information I was told today by the nice guy at Department of State has just made me get up and try to do everything possible to get my fiancé with me.
