Out of the 245 pages, how many received Visas after Ap?

What can be the cause of waits reaching 2 years now?

Any solution ideas besides prayers?

I have only been waiting for four months, but it is crushing to know

that even after 2 years people are still waiting. Waiting for what? Honestly.

Will the 2 years turn to 3 and 4? My wife and I are stuck, exhausted and hopeless :(

I read through the forum..a lot of the 2017 people have gotten their visa there are a few still waiting.. and it seems like wait time wasn't as long. I have no idea how they process it. But from my own research and understanding, it really depends on the case and the embassy. In cases where more congressional or senatorial inquiries were made and they seemed to care in helping their constituent, i noticed that it did make a slight difference. They may not be able to expedite the process but i feel like it brings more attention to your case.

In my case the CO asked for the tax transcript (which i even had with me during the interview). But he said to upload it. Also he asked for my resume. After the interview i thought its a reglular AP in which if u miss a document they ask for it. But when he emailed me it also requested for the ds5535 questions + resume. Still i am confused why was i asked for my resume as i haven't heard if a resume is required in an immigration interview

Is there anyone in this thread who was put into AP without asking any additional docs during the interview and was given ds5535?

Just one - the others have been because either we or my senators sent inquiries.

We were not asked for any documents all of our documents were in order.   We were given a 221g with Administrative Processing checked and received the questionnaire via email.

We had all documents in order, nothing was missing. We still received 221g with administrative process checked. Questionnaire was given via email next day. Six months in AP now.

Stop the guessing game and take it as it is;

He must fulfill his campaign promises from building the wall to a complete shutdown on all Muslims entering the country.

He tweeted he must abandon the "watered down" ban and find a way to abandon Ban 3.0 returning to the original which would have

included all Muslim countries. The Genius in his or in his came up with a "Backdoor" Ban; Extreme Vetting Ds-5535. Yes, you will see

some get Visas after Ap, but very scarce and very far in between. Why? his proof it is not discriminatory when in fact, it is just that....

One thing we can all hope is that our spouses are amongst the few lucky ones nshlah :)

Ps. I hope I do not get attacked by his Digital Army of whom many live here on VJ...

Agreed. The DS-5535 is a very good way to keep additional people out who supposedly do not technically fall under the ban, without making the ban look like it's over-kill.

My fiancé received the DS-5535, we suspect because his birth place is Iran even though he’s a European citizen. He’s also Christian.

I feel our our best hope for anyone stuck in AP because of the DS-5535 or because they are waiting for a waiver, is a change of administration and a more sensible, fair approach to this issue.
