Hello everyone,   I am here to share the good news. My husband's visa got issued today exactly 17 months after his interview date. I hope this journey ends for everyone who is waiting.

Finally.visa issued...7 months on ap...embassy lebanon.cr1..with ds5535...inshallah evryone gets ur visa soon

Yes, I know theres no time frame. But im just trying to look for a pattern. The people who got ds5535 a year ago get their case updated every month. The new people are not getting updates. Maybe they arent even checking ours yet and thats what they mean by "pending"

I notice that too. I think they will start hitting ours in the new year. Let's hope. And we also have to remember it really is case by case

I dont know if it is a good thing.. i dont even dont if they are really working on the case or not. Because i only saw update when i sent them Ds5535 and since then no update. There is only an update when i sent an inquiry.

I know. Samw here. They updated when they received it and then a few weeks later. After that, nothing!

Inshallah!   I just sent an inquiry since its been  over 60 days and I'm following up with my senator as well.  I don't like that I am not seeing any movement in these cases at Islamabad who have filled the questionnaire.  Its been quiet for so long.. I can't help but  worry.  Praying things start moving this week!!

I am thinking probably not until the second week of January. I am really really hoping here.  Ya Allahhhhh

Good luck, I pray you get ur visa. You already had a tough time last year

Both my husband and myself got an email from the Embassy today requesting another personal interview, but this time they are requesting me to be there with him. I tried to go with him inside the embassy for his initial interview but was told that only he can go in. Good thing I have plans to be with him in February.....I hope this is a good sign

 

Married: 09/01/02016

I-130 sent: 11/21/2016

NOA1 received: 11/25/2016

NOA1 hard copy: 11/30/2016

NOA2 hard copy: 09/21/2017

NVC received: 10/01/2017

DS-261 completed: 10/06/2017

AOS paid: 10/11/2017

IV fee paid: 10/20/2017

DS-260 completed: 10/25/2017

AOS/IV mailed: 10/26/2017

AOS/IV received: 10/31/2017

CC: 12/06/2017

Interview: 02/20/2018   AP:(

2nd Interview: 02/25/2019 (It was a STOKES!! I think I surprised them because I all ready had a trip planned over there to see him!!!)

Visa in hand! 08/12/2019

Arrived in US: 10/10/2019

10 year green card: 11/08/2019
