Form DS-5535 'SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS FOR VISA APPLICANTS'

I am close to 10 months now.. i dont see any update.. my medical is also expired but they dint contact me yet.. i was approved at the time of the interview and when after waiting for 6 months patiently our senator contacted the embassy and they got the response that my case is still refused under INA 221 g for administrative process. Should i stay positive? My husband is away from me because of this. How can i stay positive

We all of as have same condition. But unfortunately we can't do anything. Just hope hope and hope.I am waiting from 11 month.

So many are waiting for so long that actually scares me every second. They are issuing DS5535 to so many people. How they are going to issue pending visas. Yes from Pakistan and waited for 2 years for the interview. Did you also get the refusal letter with questionnaire the next day after the interview? What did they say to you at the time of the interview?

They actually updated my status also, I’m not sure if that’s good but I hope they will end this thing soon

Interview they give me 221g for wedding photograph, chat and email print out. And she told me after you submit we will issue your visa within 20 days. Then I submit same day by AEG islamabad. Then after a week they email us for my wife pictures when she visit me in pakistan. Very next day I submitted by AEG. after 2 weeks we received another email for submit questionnaire. We submit after one week. After this our case update 1 or 2 time in a month. Now 11 month completed. But nothing hear from them😔😓

hello, after a year in the administration process they sent me an email to tell me that they have not received my Ds5535 knowing that I received a phone call from the Embassy who confirmed that they have the receipt now I know what do not answer the phone if you have an idea or if someone has lived the same case do not come to help me

Those who received the questionnaire via email and then emailed it back, what kind of confirmation did you receive? 

 

We received an email saying after we submitted the questionnaire: 

Dear applicant,

The inbox is specifically intended for visa applicants who have been asked to provide additional information by the Islamabad IV unit.

If you were not asked to provide information to IslamabadIVInquiry@state.gov, your response will not be processed.

If you were not asked to send your information through this email, or have further questions, contact us at https://pk.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiries/.

My fiance had the interview on July 30, 2018. And we recieved it on September 14, 2018.

Hey guys 

my interview was 3 days ago at us Embassy in Casablanca they gave me a white slip (admin review 221g) I have no missing documents and they didn’t give me any form but they kept my passport 

what is that mean? They will send back my case to us?

Ohh ok. I thought the status updated. But the updated date is also good. Watch out if it updates back to back. That's also good. Fingers crossed for you !!

Yea, they kept his passport. At the time of interview, gave him a 221 g asking for joint sponsor, we sent it in, then issued him this questionnaire.
