Do you guys think we will get our visas? Im really trying to be hopeful, but there are people waiting for like 16 months plus. Whats the chance we will get it?

Mostly cases are little complicated because some are from travel ban countries or either visited these countries

Should we contact the embassy and let them know if our medical is about to expire? Or wait for them to tell us?

No harm in trying.   My husband's medical expires in April.  If he doesn't get his visa by then he will have to go for the third time.

But if they are not gonna issue it anytime soon wont it be a waste of money?

Don't get the medical just notify the embassy it is expiring.   Not sure if it is help but worth a try to get the ball rolling.

The embassy will contact you to send them an updated medical and maybe financial documents again when they are about to issue the visa. That is always a good sign so don't get a medical until they ask you to do it again.

This feels like a never ending process.... i feel so impatient sometimes. But you know, I've accpted our reality and left it completely up to god to help us.

I am witness that this process is long and exhausting mentally , but be assured that it will end soon ,, one of the main signs I looked at was the constant back to back updates ,, look for that ,, and advice to all ,, the embassy will contact you before your medical expires, but keep record of your expiration date also, know when it expires yourself,,, be prepared!! Blessings to everyone, keep your mind busy thru the process ,, with positive thoughts,, you will receive positive results! Once again,, updates are a good sign , that your case is moving forward!!

Blessings to everyone!! Your victory is coming🙏🏽
