Anyone receive any good news lately? My husband has been in AP for 4 months now and no news. Looking for something to give me hope that it’ll be over soon.

My wife is waiting for 5 months for her J1visa. Eventhough it is Non immigrant visa, they are taking away such precious time... Please anyone with good news share with us.

Is there anyone who succeeded getting other types of visa while waiting for the one under AP? Such as B2 F2 or ESTA?

No contact from embassy, but there were a couple of updates to my parents case in last 3 days. Case is in AP for last 8 months

You can't file for another application while one is in process

Cr1 visa. 10 months since the interview and still waiting. 

 

The questions list was given at the end of the interview and the answers were emailed the next day.

 

Have had several updates on ceac, some after I sent an email or asked the congressman to inquire for us.

 

I pray this nightmare ends soon in  happy ending for all of us!

I am waiting for about 13 months after my interview. Life is miserable. I have nothing to do instead of thinking about my visa n future.. When will this misery end. I also got questionnaire 1.5 month after my interview.

Yesterday I got a call from embassy after 8 months and 10 days, she asked me if we three except my elder son who got ds5535 want visa then send updated medical because my son, s case is still in AP and will take more time.. I said Yes we want it so today got email regarding redo medical.. Hope it will over soon now.

That's something great. I wish you get your visa soon and your son as well whose case is still in AP... I m waiting since 13 months.. I cannot explain my situation.. I cry daily at night... I check my status and email for about 5-6 times in a day.. Please pray for me.. Please I need it badly because at this point of time I have nothing else to do in my life...I want my visa so that I can meet my mom in USA and start my career and job. I m at home since one year.. I ceased my studies because of visa.. My engagement or rishta got broken in this one year.. I have lost my internship as well.. People ask me to get into another rishta and leave this visa thing n get married bcz its not gonna come.. I m so worried.. I don't know what to do.. I m living with my father... All my siblings are busy in their lives... I m the youngest. Please pray for me. Its the time I cannot hold any thing inside.. I don't know why am I writing all this here.Good luck to you. Stay happy.

you must be going through a lot i pray you get your visa soon don't worry is just matter of time i understand what you must be going thats truly painful i have  been checking  literally for my visa the same way mines is a spousal visa inshallah you will get it  i  don't know what to say to you to make feel better cause the situation anxiety is crazy but surely this is journey that  you go through and god has the right time for us behind everything their is wisdom behind it don't worry   you will get it you are almost there ❤️
