Hi fadi, thank you  for sharing your experience! my wife also had an interview on july 17 in casablanca and yesterday I received an email about filling out the form DS-5535. they sent me an attachment as well as questions to be answered in form of an email ( I am assuming that's the form?). how did you fill out the form? copied those questions into microsoft Word?, cause I wasn't able to download the attachment. this is what they said

""As arranged at the end of your immigrant visa interview, please fill out the form below and send it back to us for processing. Attached is the official form sent to you just for informational purposes and NOT to fill it out.""

thank you!

Where are you supposed to send the form?

No update at all it's been 13 Months and 11 days since his interview.

13 months is a very long time :( i am close to 8 months now. I got DS 5535 and my husband has sponsered me. Did you do anything like contacting the senator or sending query to the embassy? If yes then what response did you get?  My husband contacted the senator and they got the same reply that my case is still refused and under administrative process. Still after interview plus 8 months.

One update after sending the form and few days after that another update. now i dont see any update without sending any inquiry. What did they say to your husband at the time of the interview? And did they keep the passport?

Hi~ I have 2 questions. Please reach out to me with what you know. I beg you.

(1) Have you heard of any case DS-5535 form was requested for applicants who are dependents like F-2 or J-2.

(2) Has anyone tried some other visa type after being hold-off by this DS-5535 process? If so, how did it turn out in the end?

Thank you
