I am so very pleased to say...

VISA:  ISSUED

I checked CEAC today since my husband had his medical (was only 4 days ago) and even though we knew/hoped it was coming along soon, it still took my breath away. Tears in my eyes. Poor guy thought something terrible happened when I called him because I was hysterical.

We are so relieved. Only took about 2 years and 5 months...  no problem!! :clock: :ranting:

Congrats SabrinaJerome. Finally some good news. Enjoy!

Awesome!

We're at 51 weeks, 1 year next week of AP with my fiancee stuck in Morocco. I hope we don't have to wait 2 years. I'm going to sell my house in the spring, so may just bail on the US all together.

I am at 1500 days since filed so that is well over 4 years. I just returned from a little over a week in Dubai with my husband, so am reasonably sane.  Our AP ois over a year now. (Aug 23 2017).  The embassy involved continues to be ignorant. Never mind that we are not financially needy (we earn our own keep). I am an US citizen. My spokesperson (shall I die according to the joke protocol advising me not to travel to travel to my husband zone 4 country) is from a rather prominent family. At this point I really don;t care, going to Mali in December. And while Dakar (ds5535 to anyone no matter how well vetted he was vetted on his 19 US entries we need to abuse you some more), congrats to you. Thank you for turning me almost 56 and denying me a husband. There is nothing you can do to compensate. Even the person who vetted me in Amsterdam who questioned my 2x annual (expensive and paid for by us) weird travel patterns told me "I don't blame you". Here, I was vindicated.

Hey do we all get ds5535 form? I’m from Pakistan and worried about it after seeing this thread. I don’t want to wait further😒 I’ve never been outside Pakistan. Plus my case has been filed under f2a category.

When was your interview

Nope I’m waiting for noa2. I haven’t been through yet but it’s already been too long and I just saw that almost everyone is getting this form! Is there any specific reason? Or do they ask to fill it without any reason. I’m curious

Wow, I couldn't wait 4 years for my fiancee's visa. I'm putting the idea out there that if it does go past this winter to just move there. With the sale of my house and business, we could live well in Morocco off of her salary.

My family is from Libya, so I know they will not get to come anytime soon. My thought is if the US doesn't want my family, I don't want the US anymore.

I am a naturalized US citizen waiting my Moroccan fiancee's i129f visa. Applied Feb 2017. She has been in AP since Oct 2017

*UPDATE* Fiancee received i-129f visa and returned passport Nov 2018. 411 days of AP.
