We request expedite to NVC as our son age was turning to 21 and his medical school was starting soon so they accepted request and emaiL me and skiP the wholw nvc procedure.

Case was directly forwarded to Islamabad embassy in a week after nvc receive the case.

So hopefully we will not get any delays as they need to complete case before our son age turns to 21.

Anyone from central america still waiting on an answer for the DS 5535 is yes, how long did it took to get an answer, I had been waiting for eight months now and no news. I beyond desperate.

Could you tell me please which documents you presented the day you had the interview ?

Personnally, He only asked me few questions and then gave me back my passport to fill the DS5535 form, he didn't check any document (I am a student)

I applied for an E2 (executive employee) non immigrant visa. The officer was very satisfied with all my documents and the interview. After 2 hours post interview i received an email with all the questions similar to DS 5535. Since then its 8 months without a single update to my case.

okay my application was for a B1/B2 tourist visa so we have two different situations but we have in common more than 6 months without any update.Ssomeone here applied for a tourist via and got an answer ?

Okay hopefully we all get through this tough time soon. I have seen couple of visas issued for immigrant application, so eventually they will process the rest of the applications as well.

I'm maybe in a similar case. Got my itv at the Paris embassy on 02/08 and complete ds 5535 on 02/12. it's for a non immigrant visa tho

I am Moroccan. French people don't need a visa to visit tue US. Got mine on november 6th and my case was updated on november 8th. Since, no news.. It's for B1/B2 also nonimmigrant visa
