He got a update in January as well and nothing after that.  The VO didn't say anything to him at the time of the interview. He told him you're under Admin process and that he has to wait. He kept his passport.

Hopong to hear some good news from both of us soon. Really worried :'( I hvnt met my mom.since 5 years she is my petitioner. I was her minor child when she applied her case. Now I m 23 year old. Waiting to meet her desperately

How much time has passed,you submitted form 5535,and which embassy?

Why were you given that any specific reasons?

Secondly our interview is next month in Islamabad embassy,Category IR 2 under 21 child of u.s citizen.

Our case is also expedited one due to age turning 21 reasons, so hopefully they will not delay this case.

Should we take this filled form at the time of interview or not?

no specific reasons. Just randomly we got an email 3 days after our interview to fill out the form. We submitted the form on September 6 2017. Since that day they didn't provide any updates.

There is nothing you can really do about it except be confident and not nervous . My husband was asked couple of questions which he answered correctly but still they put him under AP.

Islamabad embassy pakistan. 8 months since interview. They sent me ds5535 in email in november first week. I filled it and sent it back on the same day. I dont know the reason...

Which of your parent is in USA? We don't know the reasons for ds5535, it seems like they send it to every other person for the background security checks to be done before visa approval. You need to wait with patience and be confident and honest during your interview session. Take all the forms and documents with u in interview. VO will ask what he wants. Stay hopeful. I left my studies when VO approved my visa. I had no idea about this post interview processing. this is good that you have visited this forum before your interview.

Hey everyone this’s really frustrating bc of this new form ds-5355! Just had the interview on April 26 and I emailed the form on May 2nd and they never emailed me anything! They didn’t take my passport and the counselor said it’s normal process that we will do and that’s really it. Everytime I check the status of my application, it says it’s under AP and it might take several weeks.. I hope they’re true about the several weeks because I really miss my fiancé...

Hello All. I am passed 8 months now without a single update to my case since sep14th 2017. My question is that our we going to get processed or is this going to stay in AP forever. I saw 2 people got there visas issued in between 8-9 months. I just hope this wait ends for all of us. Please pray hard for all of us.
