Sorry to hear that you've been through the same thing! Happy that you got your answer!  I just hope we will get news soon. We will contact the congressman's office for sure. Thank you for your time and best of luck!

Thank you. Good luck to you too and I hope you hear good news soon.

Wow, after reading your stories I am starting to panic. I have been waiting since December 14th of 2016 and I cant imagine how it must few to wait over a year.  I have called several times and get the same answer "within our processing time".  I am afraid that they will tell me that they need to do security check if I call back.  I don't have anything to hide but just don't want to wait that long.

I hope you hear good news soon. If it took so long just call your congresswoman/man, they really can help.

Yes I already did that. The senators office came back with "normal processing time" a month ago. I still haven't heard back from the other congressman I had reached out to.

The last time I called was last week and even spoke to a Teir 2 officer. They just told me that since mine was only one day from their posted date (December 15th) that it is just in the process.  She apologized that some officer processed  petitions slower than others, and all I can do is wait.  Asked her for an approximately timeline or when to call back.  She did not give me a timeline and told me to called back in 3 months if I still haven't heard anything from them. But I will probably call again today, it is really frustrating talking to them.

What number did you call? I called and was never able to get a option where I can talk to a tier officer, it's all automated answering....sigh

I just called the number on the NOA1 1-800-375-5283. There is no option to get a Tier 2 officer. It is sort of luck whether or not the customer service agent that is talking to you want to transfer you or not. It is not a direct transfer. Most likely they will transfer you and then it will tell you that they will call you back in 1 to 2 hours. It is another automated system that will call you back and you will be on hold for awhile before someone is free. But anyways, they didn't give me any information at all.

Thanks Tritruong85, I just ask my representative to find out the status of my petition.  Hopefully she get a better/good answer on my case.
