i've said it before, but when washington was rallying behind bush and yellow cake and running off to destroy iraq - bernie was against it and said as much. that stuck with me, and probably always will. and i don't for one second equate this terrorist with bernie or bernie supporters. but its a quite convenient association for your narrative, i'll give you (and boiler and iwannaplay) that much. just don't try so hard to make it happen. you lose all credibility that way.

So how does Bernie swallow his pride and endorse someone like Hillary?  Many in the GOP refused to endorse Trump for whatever reason, but Bernie followed lock-step  behind the DNC and took his payoff.  For all we know he was in on it from the beginning. 

 

I could care less what this guys politics were.  If he in fact was a Bernie supporter, I think he was deranged as it wasn't the GOP that shafted Bernie, it was Debbie W-S, and the DNC.  He doesn't even know who to go after.

Many politicians did not support Trump which is well documented.  Bernie, after the news came out about how Hillary and the DNC shafted him and rigged the primary, still choose to endorse her.  So is personal money more important to Bernie than his principles?

That was his opportunity cost. The only thing he could do was to support Hillary, otherwise the crisis in the party would probably have ended the DNC right there and then. People were not happy, and felt there was an internal coup in the party. Many of his supporters feel he was robbed the nomination.

Wow, now Bernie is elevated to savior status.  I doubt very much the DNC would have imploded without his endorsement, they have enough supporters that will ignore indiscretions.  He owed no loyalty to them or Hillary, but being the hypocritical politician he is, he took the check and swallowed any pride he may have had.

bernie was 'in on it from the beginning' ??? in on what, defeating trump? because that's the only thing i think was behind bernie's decisions after the dnc used him up and spit him out.  you're speaking of the shooter like because he was a bernie supporter that means he shot at members of the gop for bernie not winning the election. that's a massive stretch.

i don't care what this guys politics were either, even if he was a bernie supporter he probably ended up viewing him much like you do after bernie didn't run as a third party candidate and supported hillary. from the way i see it, this and the other recent terror attacks in the us have stemmed from angry white males who can't tolerate not getting their way. 

but then, i've read even here on cehst that some trump supporters (or closeted trump supporters) think that 'leftists' are supporting islamic terrorists (the only ones we need to worry with) and actually want islamic terror and sharia law to run rampant here and all over the world. so what do i know, i'm just bummed it wasn't one of my pals getting the glory. eye roll.

Don't doubt for a second that he likely intended to go over to the Democrat players next... for Bernie revenge. Republicans were just his first target on his grief list for the day. Then again all terrorists are deranged, so he's not likely to make sense.

Making the DNC primary look credible.  You do understand that the whole support of terrorist thing is all about the political correctness push that comes from the Left.  Give it up, let people do and say what they want, and call a spade a spade.  If it is Islamic Extremism, call it that, if it is political extremism, call it that.  If it is some kook Bernie supporter, call it that.

if it's white male extremism - call it white male extremism. this is another example of an angry white male, not getting his way, with easy access to guns. fin.

MedStar Hospital (no idea why they took him there instead of something like Shock Trauma) says Scalise is now in critical condition.
