There are very few white muslims in the US. There are studies that back this up. Nothing contradictory at all. Based on the low percentage of white muslims in the US, which are approximately 1% of the population (white Muslim males would be even less if you take white female Muslims out of the equation), then the chances of a middle aged, white male mass shooter being a Muslim in the US, are very slim.

Oh brother. If he was ever connected to the GOP in any way, then it completely rules out terrorism. He's just a confused patriot with psychological issues.

think it's safe to say he was not Muslim. Can we have one thread that's not arguing about Muslims?

This dude was a white terrorist plain and simple. It's clear he was mad his Bernie lost, hated Hillary, and was mad about Trump. His pages are a spew of disjointed Bernie-patriotism and anger at republicans and democrats for allowing Trump to do his thang. I can imagine he probably wrote angry manifestos about the working man getting screwed over by fat cats, RINOS, and DINOS to congresspeople who dumped them in bins marked 'just another crazy person'.
