Last time I checked the shooter was from Illinois, which doesn't have a personal firearms ban. He simply packed up the truck with guns and headed for DC, which is all the more reason for nationwide gun laws, not state by state gun laws. If you don't see how lax gun laws that allow mentally unstable people to own firearms plays into this shooting and so many others, then there really isn't much else to say.

Do you have references to him being a Trump supporter as CNN is claiming otherwise?  Was he unstable, sounds like it as there are unstable people of all walks of life, this one just happened to be a rabid Bernie follower.

What difference does it make who he supports politically? There are just as many conservative nuts that have gone on shooting and killing sprees than there are liberal nuts who have done the same. The common denominator is that they are all mentally unstable to carry out these acts. This man also made death threats against Hillary, he would have snapped no matter who he aligned with politically. Why not focus on the root of the problem rather than making this about political affiliation?

The shooting was in a gun free zone as far as I know, so you're not going to find those concealed carry permit folks you were looking for before  I do find it interesting how about 90% of the mass shootings in recent years seem to happen in gun free zones though.

He was absolutely not a Trump supporter, he couldn't stand the guy. Everything they are finding about him in the last 24 hours seems to point to someone with a vendetta against republicans who decided to act on it.

He was absolutely not a Trump supporter, he couldn't stand the guy. Everything they are finding about him in the last 24 hours seems to point to someone with a vendetta against republicans who decided to act on it.

The mass killings are carried out in gun free zones because most gun free zones are where large amounts of people gather and that's what spree killers want, more people = more deaths. I don't really think the gun free zone plays into the equation because a good amount of these spree killers end up dead anyway either by their own doing or by the cops.
