Evidence for Interview after Reaffirmation

My husband's case was reaffirmed and he now has his second interview coming up in August 2017.  My question is, to anyone who can answer it:  Should I provide evidence of our relationship all the way back to the beginning of the relationship (WhatsApp, Facebook, Calls, etc.), or just from the time the case was reaffirmed.

Does anyone know if the embassy has the evidence that was submitted to the USCIS for reaffirmation?  I am supposing all that evidence to reaffirm was sent along to the embassy, but I am not certain.

Thank you.

I don't think it's a bad thing to be over prepared for the interview, especially given the circumstances.  It's far better to bring everything, and not have them request it for examination than to have them ask him for it and he not have it.

Send your husband with as much as possible so that he will hear the "welcome to the United States" at the end of it.

Best wishes for a speedy reunion :-)

Hi, did you have to do a rebuttal? Or was it just reaffirmed without needing to show more proof?, I would say focus on what they questioned, yes they will have what you sent it in already so I would concentrate on showing more detail from when your case was returned, like more visits, detailed chats where you discuss life and family etc, pics from the visits, in general for detail, but most of this detail your hubby needs to be familiar with because it's him they will question with all your sending in and even past stuff sent in, you never know what they are going to ask, good luck ☺🙏🏾

Thank you all for the advice.  We speak via Whats App daily, so there is just the record of our calling each other, but not what we talk about.  But I have all of those records, along with the bit of chatting we have done.

I will over - do it with evidence.  That's what I had planned to do, but I guess wanted some confirmation.  We did not have to submit a formal NOIR rebuttal, but my lawyer submitted a bunch of evidence while the file was at USCIS waiting to be reaffirmed, so apparently that sufficed.  And I mean A LOT, countering what I believed to be the problem.  We were never  told exactly what the issue or issues were. There was nothing even marked on the checklist for what was wrong.  Because of this, I believe she just denied him without any concrete cause, maybe some gut feeling.  But who knows at this point.  We're going on what she focused on during the interview.

How long did it take from the date USCIS received your rebuttal to get reaffirmed?

From denial to the USCIS receiving the file was from September 2015 to March 2016.  Reaffirmation took from March 2016 when the USCIS received the file from the embassy,  to December 2016 when it was reaffirmed.  You should check with someone who had to file an NOIR as we didn't, but my lawyer had submitted a bunch of evidence to the USCIS.  That apparently sufficed and they reaffirmed.  The embassy finally touched his filed again in March 2017, then a couple more times.  Now he has his second interview in August 2017.

I agree with @MrsBonsu. Make sure your husband knows everything about you and the evidence you've already and will submit. This new batch of COs are pulling questions directly from evidence. My husband wasn't asked about our relationship during his interview, but rather random things from chats and to identify people in pictures. Go over questions with him now and continue to do so until the interview. Make sure he doesn't sounds rehearsed, but rather genuine and honest with his answers.

Good luck! I pray everything goes well for you and your hubby.
