My fiancee from Colombia had her interview in Bogota in April 2017 and has obtained her K1 visa.  We are traveling together to the US next month in July.  I included her 7 year daughter on the I-129f.  Our plan was for her to arrive first, get married within 90 days, and then apply for AOS and parole to return to visit her daughter who will be with her family.  The idea was that my fiancee would get acclimated to her new country, new language, culture, obtain SSN, get her driver's license, start school and work.  In the meantime she could return to visit while we apply for the K2 for her daughter.  My question is do we start the entire process over or is there a shortcut since her daughter's name is on the I-129f and her mother will be in the process of applying for her green card?  Also do we need to wait for my fiancee to obtain her green card before initiating the visa application for her daughter?

No it's not all over. When ready you contact the embassy to say you'll be applying for the K-2 for the daughter it has to be within 1 year from when mom got hers approved.

No don't have to wait for mom to receive GC.

They will send you info on what you need to do but basically the K-2 will need a medical, a DS-160 and interview and all fees related to all this. Once K-2 get to the US you will also have to AOS for the K-2.

Thanks Georgia.  I assume we can apply and schedule the interview while my fiancee is waiting for the AOS.  Then schedule the interview in Bogota when she is visiting on parole.

It was a tough choice whether she came before or with her daughter.  Not sure it was the best decision but I thought the transition for her daughter would be easier if her mother was comfortable and accustomed to her surroundings.  If we get married within a couple of months hopefully their separation will be only 4-5 months.

Can be hard for the mom to get used to everything and then also being away from her daughter:)
