Jumped the gun😬

First I just want to thank everybody who takes the time to read my posts.

 

I have been completely overwhelmed since I started this process with my fiancé.

 

I think we have jumped the gun and I just need some advice.

 

His exit date from the military is June 1 of 2018.

At the rate we're going, his approval may be granted and his six months from his medical could easily run out  before he is discharged from the military.

 

What is he supposed to say at his interview (given his visa is approved) when they give him his six months and he says, " my obligation to the military will run past that date."

 

Will they even issue his visa?

 Is this a valid reason for them to deny him his visa?

Will they say, figure it out on your own.

 

 I'm quite concerned that we have started the process too soon and I don't know what to do when he gets to his interview.

What Wuzopo said - delay, delay, delay as long as possible. Once you get NOA2, wait as long as possible, gather everything else, then check timelines for K1 Visa interviews.  MoD Subject Access Reports (Military Discharge/leave papers) take 2 weeks - a month to arrive after you submit the request form so I would ask your fiance about whether he can get this in hand before he is fully discharged (or on the day of).

 

Schedule medical + interview around the above; per the required documents list, discharge or leave papers will be required at the interview.
