K1 - Explicit Chat Item

I was wondering if anyone's record of chat history they submitted with their K1 visa application contained any explicit sexual conversation. I wanted to include my most recent chats with my fiance and there was one single item there and I even put a warning note on the cover sheet for that part of the submission. Did I cause myself damage by doing that do you think?

Is there a way you can edit out that item or send different pages of the chat? I wouldn't include anything like that personally, but I don't think it would effect your application negatively.

You can just skip that part and send the rest of the chat Because its not mandatory to submit each and every sentence of chat. You can take 5-6 screenshots of each month which shows that you have a strong and bonafide relation. I would suggest to skip the explicit part of chat because you won't know the person who will be processing your case. What he/she fine it inappropriate and just delay your case or something. Just skip the explicit part. Rest is fine.

Thank you so much, but unfortunately the package went out with it there. I'm hoping maybe it actually works in my favor because we have not been together very long and also we are a same-sex couple who met in his country which is very anti-gay so there are no pictures of us kissing or holding hands in public; although now that I think about it we could have taken all of them we wanted in the hotel room... Maybe the one explicit comment about what we've done sexually will show that we really are together in that way. Anyway, we haven't even known each other a year yet, we've only met once for a week, there is a very large age difference, and he's from the high-fraud country of Ghana, and even though I absolutely know he is the one and everything about our relationship is totally genuine, I fear we face a real uphill battle getting our application approved. Please keep your collective fingers crossed for us.

You certainly do have an up-hill battle. The 1 time 1 week visit in Ghana is a huge huge red flag, along with the age difference. Chat logs are considered secondary evidence, high fraud countries like Ghana put much more value into time spent together in person. I suspect that your I-129F petition will be approved, but prepare for a tough interview. In the meantime, I definitely encourage you to make more visits, and longer ones if you can. Wishing all the best for you, fingers crossed!

Once again, thank you so much. I appreciate you leaving me one glimmer of hope: "I suspect that your I-129F petition will be approved." I truly do appreciate you being real about the situation and giving sound advice on what to expect. I am prepared for whatever they want to ask. I might be able to visit again, but it's so expensive and my work doesn't let me take off for extended periods. It might be something I really need to do in order to increase our chances, though. Thanks again.

Yes, face time together is a plus especially considering the red flags you pointed out.  I wouldn't worry too much about the chat logs as these are secondary evidence, but if at all possible make a second visit, or try to be there for the interview.  I am not sure if the consulate in Ghana allows for the petitioner to be present for the interview, but if it does, I would make the trip.

Good Luck!
