My interview was April 25, 2016.

2nd Medical was requested August 1st 2017 but after re-medical, fresh photos and fresh fingerprints/Oath, the case went back to AP.

3rd Medical was requested April 3rd and I sent it on April 6th. They received it on 10(because it was an update) and today on 13th, it shows issued.

Such a painful process ended today, Allah ka shukar hai.

You had to wait for 2 years after the interview, Can you please tell who was sponsoring you and what was your visa category.  and did they ask you any additional information? That would be really helpful.

Thank you very much.

1. My mother sponsored me.

2. The interview was not that great with CO but after some time I was called in another room where the supervisor was very good. He told me everything is good and just needed the documents. I was able to gather and send documents in around June 2016.

3. It changed to Issued today.

4. I am not sure yet, but probably New York City.

My mother sponsored me. I had to prove that my stay in the US was legal. 2 Years is a very long time but Allah ka shukar hai.

Oh.. I think my category is same as yours.. Is that v92? R u a derivative asylee? My mother is in USA as well. My interview went good VO approved my visa and kept passport as well but now case is in AP. I got Ds5535 in email in november. Did you get this form to fill?

No, I am not. It is an immigrant visa.

Mine is also an immigrant visa. But when u said your mother sponsored you i thought your mother has applied asylum in USA and you are her minor child going to USA as a derivative asylee. Good luck for future

I can relate with you. I know what it feels like staying away from your mother for so long. I m away from my mother since 5 years. She is in USA. I hope this painful waiting ends soon for me as well.
