If you call the embassy they will always advise you to pay online since you started feeling out the forms on usvisa-info already. Have you received packet 4 which says you are documentaryly qualified to schedule an appointment? Well if you have only received packet 3, do not follow the DHL instruction for scheduling appointment on usvisa-info.com because it's confusing. Gather all documents including your ds-160, send to the US embassy via DHL at your own expense. It cost €11 for package not more than 1kg. The embassy will review your documents and send you packet 4. Follow the instruction on packet 4 to schedule your appointment. I will send a link which contains an information I gave to a vj member who asked similar question about scheduling appointment sometime ago.

Good luck.

Click on the link below to read more. Don't worry if you've already started feeling the form on usvisa-info. Go ahead and send the required documents listed on your packet 3, proof of relationship and your ds-160 included. You will receive packet 4 via electronic mail. So make sure your email ID is visible.
