K1 visa regarding a child.

My fiance has a 4 year old daughter and her biological father is nowhere to be found. We have no idea how to contact this guy. His name is not on her birth certificate either. I was wondering if there was any kind of documentation we would have to provide even though she has full custody? They are Japanese.

Everything should be OK for your situation.  If she has documentation to prove she has full custody and the father is not on the birth certificate, then there should be no issue.
