Hi!!

Last night I was just about to finish up my petition packet, planning on sending it out today when I re-checked everything for the 100th time... I got the instructions for the form from the USCIS website, but they did not correspond with my application.  I downloaded the form they supplied and it's totally different!  They NO LONGER include the G-325s, they are now included in the I-129F application itself, which is now 13 pages instead of 6!

I think this is so important for the VJ members to know, Lord only knows what would have happened had I sent in the out-of-date form!

I've attached the new form and instructions as well as linked to the website. Admins should fix this!

errrrrr, my mistake. Just saw that the VJ site DOES have the new form, but the instructions on the forum still say to include the G-325. My mistake! So sorry!

Hi,

This form has been out for a couple of month's now. You can see the expiration date at the top of the first page. I know this because I was about to send in my I-129F form and then they came out with that form. I then filled it out and I still sent in my G-325A form because of the expiration date at the top. If I were you I would still send it in if it has not expired yet.

The expiration date at the top is the OMB expiration date. That's for the Office of Management & Budget only...it has no impact on the end user. USCIS goes by the edition dates in the lower left corner, and accepts them up to the dates posted on the website.

The only I-129F accepted for new cases right now is the 4/10/17 edition.

Edit: And yes, the G-325A is no longer required. It's posted in several threads, but the official guide here is outdated now. The same for the I-130 since the I-130A came out instead of the G-325A.
