Hi everyone! I would like to ask if I need a VISA traveling to Canada by car for 3 days only?. What are the documents that is being checked in the border?.  I have my EAD/AP combo card with me and a non-US passport. I appreciate your reply. Thanks.

VISA is a credit card, so no.

 

Passport would be checked and you do not say where your non US Passport is from so further comment impossible.

Like @Boiler said, you have not told us the name of the country which issued your non-US passport. In any event, if you have any doubt whether you'll need a visa to enter Canada, the number of days you'll be there doesn't matter. (You obviously wouldn't want to overstay your visa, of course.)

oh yeah my bad, the passport is from the Philippines.

The official answer from CIC Canada: "You need a visa to travel to or transit through Canada." Once you get your green card, that will probably change.

 

Since you said you already have your EAD/AP card, PLEASE make sure to update your timeline!
