Hello everyone,

I have just found out that they approved our case on June 8

My fiance had to move to Bosnia-Herzegovina, because of an emergency situation. She is actually from Turkey.

Long story short, I have to schedule her interview to US Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

I called NVC today, they said they haven't received our case yet. When I asked them if they can change her address and interview location to Bosnia-Herzegovina. She said that K visa cases usually stays for a week and leave. They can not make any changes in that time frame. Is this true? there is no way to change the address and embassy location with NVC?

I don't know what to do right know. I don't want to wait for them to send our case to Turkey and then transfer our case to Bosnia. This will take a long time.

If anyone can help with their experiences, please I need it right now.

Is Beneficiary H's International Passport from Turkey? If yes, then leave everything as is, and when it comes time for interview, H goes to home country's US Embassy in Turkey.

If Passport not from Turkey, need more information.

She has a passport from Turkey. because of an emergency situation, she cant travel to Turkey.  That is the reason why I would like to change her US Embassy location to Bosnia.

You can check my timeline in my signature below for a recent, similar case. After 18 calls to NVC (2 with supervisors), 2 emails, and 1 askNVC request, I was unable to change the embassy at NVC for my I-129F. This was with a letter requesting the transfer already being sent to NVC. As long as there is not a mistake with the embassy at the NVC stage, they refused to touch it. I had to wait for the case to arrive at the embassy, then request an embassy transfer to get it to the desired embassy. The actual transfer request at NVC takes several weeks for them to acknowledge...much longer than the actual petition is at NVC.

Another member recently successfully got a transfer while at NVC, but NVC made a mistake with the embassy in their case. The I-129F and NOA2 had the correct embassy, but NVC mistakenly assigned it to the wrong embassy. He was able to get them to correct the embassy via a request submitted by email.

I have successfully changed the U.S. Embassy at NVC stage. NVC received our case on June 22, the change was made on June 29th. Since June 29th we are waiting. CEAC still shows that "AT NVC". I emailed NVC and they wrote the message below.

"This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete."

Can anyone please tell me how long this is going to take until they send our papers to Embassy?
