NVC Long Processing Time - New System???

Hi, Does anyone know if there is any problem with the NVC or something that could delay the processing times after receiving the case from USCSI? 

 

We were told that they received our case on May 24th, but that they can't access it in their system or something. The lady I talked to said we are one of the "lucky" ones who appear to have been added to their new Consular Electronic Processing system (more information here, but not very helpful: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/approved/contact/CEAC_electronic_processing.html.html). Basically it sounds like they have it, but they need to scan the paper copy into the new system to make an electronic copy. Once they do that, the process should be faster as they will send the case electronically to the embassy in my fiancé's country rather than mailing it. She said they should communicate to us via snail mail or email once the embassy receives it.  She also said that they should generate and invoice number for us and that we can continue to call to try to get that if we want. 
 
Also, since I hit the 30 day mark, I emailed NVCINQUIRY@state.gov as the I-797 instructed and have had no answer yet.
 
Wondering if anyone here would have any update or info.

Are you saying that NVC has a new system where they upload the documents to send to the different embassies and that system is not working well.  Good grief! that sounds like a long wait then.

Kind of.......from what I could understand they do have a "new" electronic system where it will speed up the process between NVC and Embassy. At the same time, I'm not completely sure if that is working already. I have being waiting too long for NVC to assign a case number and this is concerning me, that is the original point of my question.

Received a letter saying I am in queue for an interview.  Any ideas on how long that will take letter dated 7 June 2017.

Good to know you finally received your case #. I am still stuck with "not receive yet" stage. Tomorrow will be a month waiting and will send an email as per instruction, hope will get an reply from NVC.
