You false equivalency here is equating the EO with what he said during a campaign.  Now if the EO had actually come out and imposed an all out Muslim ban regardless of country, then you might actually have a point.

I am afraid I can't help you close the cognitive gap that several judges from around the country have with you on this topic. In their opinions they have consistently cited the news reports. Lets see it go to the supreme court.

What is interesting is how the Left relies on activist judges to try and interpret the thoughts and feelings of a person instead of judging the EO on the merits of the words that are there and the basis for the ban which actually came from their almighty leader Barack Obama.  Thankfully we have Trump in place now so we can start filling some of these seats with actual critical thinking people that actually respect the constitution.

Okay I will concede : that is a good point and he is a good judge....which is all the more reason for one of these cases to be appealed to the highest court.

For some reason though, no appeal has been made.

Actually, I read that the appeal is in the works, but the Administration asked for a few more days to submit briefs, then the other guys (Hawaii and Islamic orgs.) get time to respond, so it may only get to SCOTUS on the last day of their session.

It's going to be another Capone' s  safe, when this judge shopped,  absurdity hits a screeching halt in SCOTUS.  It's even more fun when the MDL is in everyone's face with it, because like 80% of the ninth circuits case that the supreme court hears, it will be shot down.

 

The only MDL prediction that was ever right, was predecting massive but hurt after the election,  and predecting a large group of deplorable people would not accept the results.

Well the original temporary Travel Ban was just looking for less than 6 months to sort things out.  We are at 6 months so that should be pretty much wrapped up by now, seeing how efficient things are running A cote chez Trump.

From what I have read regardless of the EOs a lot of extra vetting has been adopted. Having a President that actually enforces the laws duly passed is somewhat refreshing.

I often wondered about that myself.  In my opinion, Trump just had to go to the SoS and tell him to toughen the vetting which appears to have happened.  However, there is still a need to review the courts and determine how much power they have compared to the Executive.

They have the same power as the Oval when it comes the legal matters. All these judges the so-called president mocks are as important and relevant as Trump himself. They are his peers.
