Because during some of the dark periods of the election he was at some points one of Trump's only supporters in the "Media".  He did a interview with Louis Farrakhan basically saying how Trump is great  and will turn everything around, then a day later he got into a actual fight with the Young Turks.

I've wanted to choke him for a long time before he ever got 'popular'. He's one of many festering wounds out there....

I have said before on here that I think he is completely nuts and a disgrace to my side of the aisle. I hate to admit that I used to watch him until I wised up and said "what a minute, this guy is off his rocker". I don't know if Trump listens to him or not, I know I certainly would not listen to him at all. If I did I would be scared that some lizard man that we are fighting on Mars will come down and put me in a FEMA coffin or camp.

It's even smarter to announce to the world that it is a ban on Muslims, while the the lawyers, who are trying to defend the  EO, are doing everything they can to convince the courts that the EO isn't a Muslim ban.

Which is really coward of him, because in order to please his alt-right constituency he keeps mentioning radical muslim terrorists, but he doesn't have the guts to tell the country he's signing a ban on Muslims. Everything with the so-called president and his family is shady and quite not what it seems. Makes me thing of a show called "Leverage."  We're all their marks!
