Losing resident status while waiting for NVC CC

Dear all! I am in a really confusing situation. I just faced losing my work in a country I am living and residing. If that will be the case I would lose my residency in a month from then but will have 3 months allowance to stay in the country ( that is given to find another job usually). We are currently preparing to send our docs to NVC, which gives us about 3 months till interview date and even tho I will be here legally I wont have resident status by the time I need to go to the interview. To make it clear I do not live in my home country for about 5 years so I really have all my life here, in country of residence and for me to go back to homeland for the interview not only will cost a fortune but will require me to sell/move/deal with all my belongings and assets here.

We are thinking of expediting case with NVC ASAP as we already successfully expedited i-130 with USCIS just before.

Does anyone have any ideas or had any relevant experience? Any advice will be gratefully appreciated!

But you're going to have sell/move/deal with all your belongings and assets there anyway as you are trying to move to the USA! What's the difference?

I dudng lubr in my home country ( the country of my nationality) for 13 years but I was able to return - I just had to live with an old aunt of mine until I could get myself established again. You will probably have to live with a family member of friend also for a few months on your home country if you have to leave your current country.

You can try to expedite through the NVC but they don't have to grant an expedite for this reason.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Thank you for your reply! We do have reasons to expedite thru NVC basically same ones we already expedited thru USCIS.. I am just more looking for legal kinda advice whether I can stay and do interview here still or not.
