I work a second job JUST to pay my phone bills which are-on average-$300 a month. They have been $600-$800 a month in the past. Verizon wireless has a new plan that only charges me 20 cents a minute.

cari and i talk each and every day,we can spend hours on the phone and cam,it hepls us both get through the distance in our lives,without calling cards and skype it would be extremly hard to stay as connected as we are anyone who needs to call america can do so from a site called topuptotalk http://www.topuptotalk.tk/

for 1.7 pence per minute it certainly helps us they cahrge 5 pence to connect you to a usa landline number or a usa cellphone,if like me you want to use the obseen amount of free mins you get with your mobile (i get 3000 off peak mins) they charge 10 pence to conect you

6 hour time difference:

I sms when I wake up and check email - he sends one when he wakes up so I have one waiting...usually

Usually talk in the mornng via phone for 30 mins or so

sms during the day when we're REALLY lonely or have something to share or trying to coordinate next time to speak

Skype in the afternoon (his bedtime)

I email when I go to bed so he has something to wake up to

Sometimes our respective wireless routers cause prob with Skype, so if it's important, we use the phone.

The most basic answer to the question is "Not enough."
