The y received it on April 20th, they haven't given me the approval to send it to Haiti Embassy yet!! 😡

Have you received your case number from them yet? They are supposed to mail you a letter with it, but not everyone receives the letter for some reason. The easiest way to get the number is to call them. If you have the case number and the CEAC tracker still says 'At NCV' I would keep calling them (the NVC) because you are way outside of the 30 day processing time.

I only received the NOA1 notification on April 25th of them receiving my petition on April 20th. Still waiting on the notification for NOA2 and I had called them and they state that i have 3 more months. its been 4 and they have been friends of mine that filed for the K1 visa 1st of April that have been approved for NOA2 2 weeks ago.

Ah, I see. I misunderstood your initial post.

Yes NOA2 is taking anywhere from 3-5 months these days. They don't process petitions in exact order, so someone who filed before you very well may have been approved already. USCIS gives a 6 month timeline for NOA2 approval, but most applicants don't wait that long. Your NOA2 should arrive sometime in the next few weeks.

Our NOA1 was received May 8th for k1 visa. It's been 126 days and haven't heard a thing! **Is 5 months the max time for NOA2??** I'm debating about going back to Jamaica end of this month for about a week as he may be getting interview next month. Is that realistic? I noticed on USCIS website it says California is processing February applicants as of June 30th but the site was last updated Aug16th. Does anyone know if my fiancé may have interview next month & likely to to finish up this process??? Is 6 mths the usual processing time now for k1 visa??? Please reply! Thanks!

So where did your fiancé come from and when did you file?? I got receipt notice or NOA1 on May 8th and haven't heard a word. My fiancé is in Jamaica and neither of us have criminal records, both employed, have houses and kids. Why is ours taking so long??

The back date currently goes back as far as March 1st in Cali. However they are processing cases currently that we're received on 1st May 2017. I filed 17th May and am hoping my noa2 is in the next two weeks or so, currently we are at 133 days waiting for an noa2. I would say based on being approved for an noa2 you need to add a further 6-8 weeks for the medical and interview to the noa2 approval date. So my timeline is estimated at around end of nov at the very earliest. So for yourself id say mid to end dec

My fiancé filed my i129f in december 13 !

got approved in january 5th !beacause of a lot of holidays in december so get a little delayed for approval! After i submit my documents upon request in us embessy i make an appointment for my medical ! And then i book the date for my interview with the embessy in germany this whole process from ( i-129f approval  to mediacl exam ) took 1 month ! I schedule my interview 14 feb 2017! And then my online status changed to ap which was so annoying for me but wasn't for long after 3 weeks of my interview status changed from ap to issued!

I got my passport in hand 13 march 2017!

and i came in usa 4th of april and we applied for my AOS for my green card ! Hopefully in few weeks i will have my gc in hand! Best of luck to you!

Don't worry about the birth certificate it won't take long making the decision after they received the birth certificate!

i forgot my birth certificate too! But the i submit in the first place and yet my process wasn't that long as we expected ! I got k1 visa in hand like in 2 months of time! Best luck to you!

That went crazy fast, congrats! Did they say why it happened so fast?

Do they need to??? I don’t think so! But i would say if you are fully prepared and you provide all the documents in the first place it won’t take long as they will go straight and fast to the decision! Thats what happens in our case i prepare everything they need and they were satisfied with the documents! But i am telling you this is not the end! The real journey and if i say a pain full journey starts when you cane in usa and apply for a AOS. So be prepare and best of luck

The timelines was not like this back then, and winter months are always faster. This Long lines started around feb- march (Q2 of 2017)

Assuming every single person here is not ready but one is ridiculous.

It is awesome that it finished smoothly and fast. But they are working extremely slow right now. Hopefully it will go back to 3 months pace by next year at least.
