Hello,

I am currently awaiting awaiting approval of AOS from K1, as well as the AP and EAD.

I checked the USCIS website today and saw that it said my EAD has been approved and will be sent in the mail. However, my AP has not been updated since March, still with the case status saying that they've received my form.

I was wondering if this was normal? I've frequently read the term "combo card" - I assumed that meant that the two came together on the same card.

I was looking through my paperwork and had noticed that when I got my original notice for biometrics (the paper you bring with you), it lists only my AOS and EAD case status numbers on it. Should the AP case status number have been on this paper, too? And since it was not, is this something to worry about?

If anyone can shed any light on if I should be concerned about my AP processing or not, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I tried calling the USCIS number on their website. However, they were of little assistance and only provided generic responses.

I dislike bumping my own thread. But, could anyone provide any assistance with this?

I'm mainly concerned that my case number for AP was not on the biometrics appointment letter, but the case numbers for AOS and EAD were. I'm not sure if this is the reason that the AP was not approved along with the EAD and if something was messed up along the way.

Thanks!

The ap case doesn't show up on the biometrics appointment, you don't have to worry about that.

My ap case took longer to change status and just went to approved, and then it's stuck there til now. The ead case changed to approved and then card mailed, the card I got is a combo card. I assume the same will happen to you.

wait for the ead card to show, when it does, you can check if it serves as advance parole as well. If not, then you call uscis.
