Hi All,

I was searching around to see if anybody recently submitted an I-129f for a UK fiance?  I haven't seen any recent timetables in the forums and I'm inclined to not trust the processing time lists for the CSC.  I ran into an immigration lawyer the other day and she estimated the entire process would be three months for a UK fiance and the processing times don't match this.  We received our NOA1 about two weeks ago and I'm eager to know when the NOA2 might arrive.  My lease is about to run out here and I'm trying to figure out if I can budget for my fiance to be here by the end of August or not.

Thanks!

NOA2 is approximately 3 months from the NOA1's date. If you're lucky, it might be less than 3 months but it's unlikely based on current processing trend. Case in point, some February 2017 filers still haven't got theirs though approvals for March 2017 have been coming through. On the other extreme, some VJers had to wait more than 3 months. Either way, all the best! Keep busy in the meantime.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Average wait time to NOA2 is about 3-4 months, country of the beneficiary does not play a role. USCIS gives a 6 month timeline from NOA1 to NOA2, and while it is rare to wait that long, there are users on this forum who have waited 6 months or longer. Unfortunately I don't think it is at all realistic for your fiancé to be here in August. Assuming that you file today and the process is 'quick' you are looking at at least 4-5 months if you get lucky with speedy NOA2, NVC processing and interview.

The I-129F is taking, on average, 3-4 months currently. Then roughly a month from NOA2 to get through NVC and to the embassy. Then the timeline is embassy specific...typically a month or 2 for UK is what I've seen, but a lot of it is also how soon you can get the appointment (sometimes you get lucky if people cancel).

Here's the London timeline graph showing a current average of 51 days from when the consulate receives your file.  That would be after waiting for USCIS to send the approved petition to NVC and NVC to send it to London.

Hers's a UK timeline.

from that timeline page, look near the top for "Show Simiar Timelines" and that will take you to a list of others and some stats.
