I am sorry for your child but type one diabetes can be treated in countries other than the US. There is no requirement to be here. Once the child can travel they can move to be with you.

 

The mother has no way of adjusting as the two who could sponsor are ineligible at this time and you do not wish to make the arguement that you are no threat following your sex offense to overcome your ineligibility.

Its not just the T1D, he also has acidosis (tainted blood from high acidity levels) and previous bout of ITP- platelets destroyed  in his blood...similar to hemophilia.
