Naturalization Certificate not signed for I-130 and I-485 concurrent filing

Hi there,

 

I have a question: I am a recent naturalized U.S. citizen and just sent I-130 and I-485 concurrent application for my wife. The naturalized certificate doesn't have my signature and the package was just sent out yesterday. So should I WAIT for a RFE or rejection letter (not denial letter)? or should I send out an explanation letter NOW with signed naturalization certificate without a case no. or receipt no. ?

 

The application package was sent to the USCIS Chicago office with UPS Next day yesterday. So it should have arrived at UCCIS today. I have not got case no. or receipt no.

 

And today I just realized I have not signed on my naturalization certificate. So the submitted copy of my naturalization certificate does not have my signature.  That's my mistaken.  To correct my mistaken, I just signed my naturalization certificate and made copy. I just don't know whether I should wait for USCIS's RFE for the signed naturalization certificate (or I might event get a rejection letter), or I should send in the signed certificate tomorrow (which can arrive at USCIS on the coming Monday) and hope USCIS can merge the two sets of documents merely with my wife's name, date of birth and address.

Dont sweat about it,  It happens. just wait for RFE. If they accept your package they will issue RFE. If they reject it you will sign it and send it back  again.

Thanks for your reply. Here is my updates to the issue:

 

RFE did not arrive. So without a RFE, we did send USCIS a corrected Naturalized Certificate with reference number to my wife's name, DOB and address . And it seems they accepted it.  Since then she has done figure print and now we are waiting for interview notice.
