Affidavit of Support?

Hi all! 

Firstly, I just want to say thank you so much for your help so far! You've been incredibly helpful, and I'm sorry for posting so much!

As far as an affidavit of support goes, does that go in with the I-129f?

My boyfriend, who is the USC, definitely makes more than 125% of the poverty line for a household with two people in, which is what we will be. But in any examples, I've never seen an affidavit of support put in the I-129f.

Is it that it won't be taken into account at the USCIS and instead I would need to take it to my interview in the embassy in London?

Yes - this gets sent by mail from him to you, and then you submit it here in London with your packet.

Ah ok, thank you! Does it have to be mail? Can he scan all of it and send it to me that way?

I believe its meant to be original wet ink copy, and notarized too.  Thats definitely preferred if not required.

Ok great! And so if I'm using his affidavit of support, will they want to look at my finances at all? Or will it be entirely based on his?

Its all about his finances (and co-sponsor if you have/need one) - unless you already have a solid job offer for your new life in the USA in which case yours would come into play.

The beneficiary having a job offer won't qualify for the I-134 since 1) They are not allowed to work in the US until they file for AOS and get an EAD, and 2) a job offer is not proof of actual income. Or, more precisely, the CO won't take those factors into account for the public charge concern (which is the actual requirement for the CO to make a determination on).

Wet copy, yes. Notarized? Nope...that's not necessary or a factor.

Gosh - you're totally right!  I overlooked that completely,so yeah,just his (and co-sponsor) matters

Sorry, let me just confirm this because I'm a little confused now. 

My boyfriend definitely makes over 125% over the poverty line. So, when he sends me the affidavit of support, that's all I'll need in terms of finances? I won't need to show any of my own finances at all?
