Okay,  So I am a citizen but right now I live in Colombia, I'm staying with my bf  so I do not have a job in us or in Colombia, can my mom do the affidavit to support my bf? just for the form and I will be back in us in 3 or 4 months , so when he gets approved I will be living in us and I will have a job and make money so I can sponsor him for the green card and chage of status, but right now :  I do not live in us but I have a mailing addres there, and second I dont have a job in us but my mom would sign any paper for the fiance visa. it is that possible or what can I do?

You need to look into the k1 visa. Cosponsors are possible, although some embassies do not allow them for fiance visas. I'm sure someone on here will have specific Colombia knowledge.

Your mom would have to make above 100% of the poverty level and when you adjust (for the green card) you'll have to make 125%. Some embassies actually prefer 125% at the fiance visa too, while technically not the official rule, some do want it.

Good luck!

Yes I can make more  than 125% so that's not a problem, I just want to know if it is possible to do the forms without having a job in us, I can say that I was living in us cause actually I will be back to us in 3 or 4 months, I just don't want to be a part of my bf for so long.  But I hear that sometimes for the fiance visa they don't accept having affidavit or co-sponsor and I do not want to waste my money doing the forms and the waiting time not seeing my bf

Exactly, some countries do not allow cosponsors. You might just have to bite the bullet and be apart. Most of us on here have spent many months away from our loved ones. That's part of falling in love with a foreigner. (I myself have been away from my fiance for over 6 months and just approved for my visa)

But I am Colombian too :( also  US citizen and I can't leave my bf alone for so long  I really love him that's the only thing that makes me keep living , But the thing is that I know Colombia does allow co-sponsor, I am referring about the k1 visa they usually do not accept the affidavit  but I do not know if that's true.
