Dear kind people of Visa Journey --

I've been reading this website throughout the my application / petition process of my K1-Visa. Now my fiancé and I have arrived in the US (14 May 2017). We got married (4 Jun 2017) and now we're in the process of compiling our AOS, EAD & AP's documents. I've read through the form and try to fill it out. However I have some questions regarding the forms and whether I'm filling out the right answers. I hope you guys can help me. This whole process is somehow more overwhelming to me especially compared to the K1 Petition, maybe because I'm also moving to a new country and having to adjust to new life.

Could you guys please advise me on these questions bellow?

THANK YOU in advance.

Best,

J/G.

FORM i-485

PART I:

1.     Date of last arrival, my stamp on my passport is 14 May 2017 but my I-94 form is dated 15 May 2017, which on should I put down as my "

Date of Last Arrival" on the form?

PART IIIA:

1.     Current occupation, back home I was a teacher, should I put in teacher as my current occupation or I should put ‘currently unemployed’ because I'm not currently working / being employed?

2.     Status of my last enter? Should I put ‘K-1 – Fiancé Visa’?

3.     “Were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer?” this is the passport control and sealed envelope part during my arrival, yes? So my answer is definitely ‘YES’; correct?

4.     My ‘Nonimmigrant Visa Number’ is what printed as the ‘Control Number’ printed on my K-1 Visa stamp? Correct?

PART IIIB:

1.     “List your present spouse and all of your children” because I am married to my ‘Petitioner in i129F / current spouse based on my K-1" should I put in his name on this section?

2.     Also where can I find my husband ‘A-Number’? He’s a USC by birth.

3.     And since he’s a USC he’s not ‘Applying with me’ correct?

FORM G-325A

1.     “This form is submitted in connection with an application for” What should I put in here? "Status for Permanent resident" or ‘Other’ and later put in Adjustment of Status (i485)

FORM I-693

1.        What is my “USCIS Online Account Number”??

FORM I-864

1.        If we have co-sponsor, does petitioner need to fill in I-864

FORM I-765

1.        On Q. 14 Status at last entry? & Q. 15. Current Immigration Status should I simply write "K-1 Fiance Visa"?? or what's the ebst / correct answer for these questions?

2.        On Q16. Eligibly category (A)(6) or (C)(9) -- As per i-765 instruction page as I have a K1 Visa. And I’ll just skip Q17-Q19, correct?

3.        Form i-765ws is NOT required for me, correct?

FORM i-485

PART I:

1.     Date of last arrival, my stamp on my passport is 14 May 2017 but my I-94 form is dated 15 May 2017, which on should I put down as my "

Date of Last Arrival" on the form? That's a good question. I would put the date based on the I-94 since you will print that and send it with your application...unless someone else thinks differently

PART IIIA:

1.     Current occupation, back home I was a teacher, should I put in teacher as my current occupation or I should put ‘currently unemployed’ because I'm not currently working / being employed? You are currently unemployed

2.     Status of my last enter? Should I put ‘K-1 – Fiancé Visa’? Yes

3.     “Were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer?” this is the passport control and sealed envelope part during my arrival, yes? So my answer is definitely ‘YES’; correct? yes

4.     My ‘Nonimmigrant Visa Number’ is what printed as the ‘Control Number’ printed on my K-1 Visa stamp? Correct? The visa number of a United States visa is printed in red color and on the lower right corner according to google since I don't remember honestly

PART IIIB:

1.     “List your present spouse and all of your children” because I am married to my ‘Petitioner in i129F / current spouse based on my K-1" should I put in his name on this section? yes

2.     Also where can I find my husband ‘A-Number’? He’s a USC by birth. He won't have an A-number, just leave it

3.     And since he’s a USC he’s not ‘Applying with me’ correct? right

FORM G-325A

1.     “This form is submitted in connection with an application for” What should I put in here? "Status for Permanent resident" or ‘Other’ and later put in Adjustment of Status (i485) Yes you can put the first one

FORM I-693

1.        What is my “USCIS Online Account Number”??

If you didn't make an account for that, on the website then you won't have an online account number. Just leave it

FORM I-864

1.        If we have co-sponsor, does petitioner need to fill in I-864. I want to say Yes the petitioner will still need to fill it out...but now I doubt myself

FORM I-765

C9! and yes skip them, I wrote in N/A to be safe

3.        Form i-765ws is NOT required for me, correct? That's are for category (c)(14) or (c)(33) so no you don't need that

Hope this helps. Good luck!
