Oath in Richmond VA

Maybe they don't do them every month? I'm Richmond too so my assumption is we will be taking our oath on the same day!

The only date I ever found was from where the League of Women Voters were going to be at the Richmond oath ceremony for a voter registration drive on May 17th. I had first found that a couple of months ago, can't recall exactly when. So I've checked a few times to see if their calendar finds out about a future date before me.

 

And on June 7th there was one in Mechanicsville.

I don't understand how the ones at places other than the court house work. Who decides who goes to the "special" ceremonies? (eta seems they just randomly decided to do a different location)

 

Aaand I think I know someone who was in Mechanicsville so I will ask her when her interview was.

This is interesting to know Mechanicsville has Oath Ceremony too. I've only heard that they happen in Richmond Court and normally every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

 

If you can find out when their interview was that would be very helpful.
